A “like-in-kind” replacement for coal
Facilities and energy systems that use coal and emit greenhouse gases can do a simple change in their raw material source, leading to a direct reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, Sulphur dioxide emissions, and a substantial reduction in hazardous ash disposal. PDI is building out the first large-scale plant to do this in Ashland, Maine. It will be online in 2023.
