CURRENT OPENINGS
Civil Engineer
This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for the design of industrial foundations and vendor management on client projects. This full-time position is remote, with required monthly in person check-ins at Maine headquarters. Periodic travel is required globally to various client work sites (potentially up to 16 weeks/year).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with 7-10 years strongly preferred
- EIT required, PE preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCad, Solidworks, or similar software
- Design knowledge of industrial foundations; equipment support foundations
- Working knowledge of steel embeds, anchoring systems for structural steel, and best practices around machinery anchors
- Design expertise in environmental planning for wastewater and runoff preferred
- General civil systems working knowledge preferred including:

- Roadworks required on site planning
- Underground water systems for industrial use, including process water, fire water systems, and wastewater piping to discharge points
- General site planning and overall understanding of traffic flows and related issues around a working industrial plant

Responsibilities
- Designing of industrial foundations, including rebar specifications, steel embeds, and overall direct design
- Direct drawings of foundations, roadworks, etc.
- Vendor specifications for tender packages
- Vendor and budget management
Compensation
- Salary range: $125,000-$150,000

Director of Sales
This position reports to the President and is responsible for seeking out and identifying sales opportunities, strategic partners and sales agents as required. A critical component includes building customer relationships through networking and referrals. This full-time position is to be based remotely in the U.S., with travel to client sites, prospective client sites, and trade shows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in capital equipment sales: 3 years minimum, 5+ preferred
- Working knowledge of engineering techniques, ability to read blueprints and understand technical concerns of clients
Responsibilities
- Target specific manufacturing industries and/or regions throughout North America.
- Must have established track record of growing sales and increasing customer base in new markets.
- Effective communication with management and engineering teams
- Have/develop knowledge of the market and on major technologies typically found in these markets.
- Understand advantages and value proposition of our product line.
- Be active in relevant trade associations, with attending and displaying at trade shows.
- Develop relationships with key partners in industry to facilitate growth through partnerships.
- Self-directed individual with initiative, drive, and determination to aggressively grow sales volumes.

Senior Controls Engineer
This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for PLC programming, program integration, panel design and instrument selection. In addition, it will involve development of engineering standards, project management, and construction oversight. This full-time position is in office, five days per week in Maine. Periodic travel is required globally to various client work sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, E.E.T., or Associate’s degree with prior design experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer, with 7-10 years strongly preferred
- Strong PLC programming skills, including but not limited to: PID Development, troubleshooting in Allen-Bradley systems
- Knowledge and experience regarding industrial processes, controls integration strategies, and motor control center design
- Proficiency in AutoCad
- Project management skills, including time management, project scheduling, and cost tracking
